Hopefully the below will link you to a conference in Chicago on the Electronic Health Records (EHR). These conferences can usually be attended at student rates and are a great place to go and connect with others in the field. It is also a great place to find potential preceptor-ships.

Hi Kathy, Thanks for posting. You will be joined soon by Dr. Fant's student in 530 and her 515 students. As an Informatic student you should look for opportunities to attend conferences. The student rates are cheap. The HIMMS conference is a good one to go to. I will post a link to this. This is an opportunity to connect, job hunt and learn. MAT
